I woke up early in the morning. I packed up my things and set off for school with excitement. It was sunny. It was a great weather for sports day!
The first schedule of our class was a 100 meter race. Just when the drum was hit, I rushed like a bullet immediately. Wind was roaring by my ear. I tried my best running, and I won the second place! Hooray! The silver medal was shining brightly under the sun, so beautiful!
The next schedule was a dance. All of the students had a red ball in the right hand and a yellow ball in the left hand. The music of the dance was good, but the dance was horrible!
After the dance, we had a competition against other classes. When it started, the first classmate ran toward the rubber band and jumped over it. The rest of us cheered the student on. “Go! Go! “We yelled .After our striving, we won the third place. Not bad!
The last schedule was the most exciting one. Everyone had been looking forward to this for a long time---the relay! I attended, I was the tenth one. The vest we wore was pink. “Beee ~!!”The judge blew the whistle. The race started! The first student ran forward, heading for the second one. At first, we ran well. But when it was the turn for the ninth student, the distance between the one in front of him got further and further! “Go! Go!”We cried .When I got the baton , I ran as fast as I could toward the eleventh classmate .Just when I nearly reached him , someone ran into me , and I didn’t pass the baton to the classmate perfectly ! Fortunately, we got the third place. We could do better, I thought.
Even though we didn’t get very good grade this year, I enjoyed it very much. Sports day was a day to exercise and show team spirit. I love sports day!
